14 Million Dollar Plate on a Zonda

The most expensive license plate ever carries the number ’1′ and was sold in 2008 to businessman and member of a wealthy Abu Dhabi family, Saeed Abdul Ghafour Khourim. Saeed Khouri paid 14 million dollar for an Abu Dhabi license plate with the number 1, breaking the previous record held by his relative Talal Ali Mohammad Khouri, who paid up to 7 million dollars for the Abu Dhabi plates with number 5 and number 7. When asked what he intends to do with the plate he stated that the plate will be kept on one of the family cars and that he has no intention to sell it. The car on which it's over this precious plate is exactly a Pagani Zonda.

The Roadster F N°82 has been built in 2006 for Saeed Khouri and this is a clear example that money doesn't buy taste. This particular Zonda presents a bare carbon fiber body with some orange finishes in the wrong parts of the body like head lights, side skirts, front and rear spoilers and rear bumper; regular polished wheels with black brakes calipers and biscuit-colored interior. While the main obscenity can be found on the plate between the two seats, in fact there isn't the usual sentence " Built with Art and Passion for Mr. etc "but a stupid written " I Love Sex ".
